For Sale 2002 Bug Eye WRX

Hello all,

I bought my first Subaru three years ago from this very site, now with my sensible head on I have bought a diesel for the long haul to work every morning. So as a result I am selling my Irish 02 bug-eye WRX. There is 117000 miles on the clock and the next service is due at 126000 miles. Since I bought it in 2009 it has been given a paint job, a new clutch and a new timing belt. It is NCT'd until Jan. 2014 (to quote the tester it "sailed through the emissions test" in Jan). It has no after market modification, except for a turbo timer. It has been treated well and runs like a dream.

Asking price is €3500. I would prefer to sell it to someone on here as I know it will be looked after or at the very least appreciated.

I have just seen what Subaru's of this sort of spec are getting privately. I will re-adjust my price accordingly.

That looks like my old one, paid 32k for it in 2003, had it for a year and sold it for 30k back to the dealer I bought it from originally. Pity they don't hold their value like that anymore. Good luck with the sale I think you have it priced very well.

It's a small world! I bought it from a lad from Cork in 2009. He had it for 3 years or so, so the timeline matches anyway!
Yeah it is a pity, I paid €9000 for it in 2009. I was going to hang on to it but I have no place to keep it long term.
 
Could you narrow that down a bit more (limerick/tipp) big area, just so he can see how much travel he would have to do,

not looking for your hse and street number :thumbsup:
 
No problem. I work on the Dublin side of Limerick city. Near the University and I live back near Tipperary Town. But I can drive in either direction if required!
