free nct ??????????

was talking to a guy earlier and he was telling me how he was waiting nearly 2 and a half months for his nct test...

he went on to say a guy told him if he is waiting more than 28 days for the test the test would be free..its in a contract that sgs signed with the government when they took over the nct testing...

he said when you go to take in the car and they ask for the money tell them its in the contract that if im waiting over 28 days the test is free so im not paying..

he said it worked for him...

anybody know anything bout this

waiting 2 and a half months? weeks? mine is due soon. might try this!
 
Well mine has been booked since 06/07/2009 and not due till 15/11/2009 . Definitely be interested in knowing this.
 
Heard this before alright but supposedly its only free if you are waiting more than 28 days for them to issue you with a test date not take the actual test.
 
ya and when the big rush came on for a test it was on the radio that they wont and dont have to honour that ,
if it was the case now every test would have to be free,
 
mine expired at the end of august, and they are booked out until end of December, deadly! wanted to get these cats taken out!
