full respray cork city

anyone recommend a panel beater/spray painter in cork city to get a quote off for a full respray on my legacy,
got a few quotes off the well known places in january from between 2,000 to 2,500....
not looking for a bare metal strip down...

would have thought that was about correct. if doing it on a car like yours needs to be windows out and all trims off etc imo

would agree , better to strip it and address any rust issues that may be starting , no point painting over them and hoping for the best :dontknow:
 
johnny as above those quotes sound about right,a mate had his 97 sti fully resprayed for 2 grand,we had prepped most of the car for the painter as it was a bare shell,so if you're getting the car stripped and painted for that you're doing well imo :thumbsup:
 
the price above are rough quotes i got from 5 different shops for just a paint over job not a strip back to metal job......
 
would you mind listing where you went Johnny? I need some paint work done, not full respray and always handy to have a list of places for quotes.

Have you tried body image in ballincollig?
 
i just tried the places on the tramore road john, kenny bros,owen hodders etc....
 
If ya can johnny go to bare metal. I know i got mine done the way your talking but sorry i didnt go all out, Rust was still waitng for me after it was done. Are ya going using it as a daily again
 
DO NOT GO TO BODY IMAGE !!!!

I had a good painter but he retired he did my last 2 cars complete resprays and the cars got features etc he was a perfectionist shame he gone idget my leggy done too


there is a foreign guy in glanmire past grandons very good also but costly
 
just goin to use it when the weather is fine during the summer months and the odd weekend richie....
