Hi guys im doing a bit of a fundraisers for the todayfm Shave or Dye:

All proceeds raised go to support Irish cancer society, It was a last minute spur of the moment decision but i plan on getting my head shaved tomorrow. I have never had a shaved head or anything remotely close to it so it will be a bit of a shock for me and im sure anyone that knows me. Anyway ill post up some before and after pictures tomorrow. If anyone would like to donate a few quid to a worthy cause, click they link below, no amount is too small and so many of us have been affected by cancer we should try support the cause as much we can.

You know how much i like my hair Dave! It will be a good way to hide the gray hair for a few weeks!
 
doing this myself also
so i too will be looking for isdc members to sponsor me
it is a great cause and it has touched all of us
im going to dye my hair
have shaved my head many a time so that wouldnt be anything
think i will go green hair
will be sponsoring you no doubt
hope other club members are also going to get involve
WE SHOULD ALL DO THIS AS A GROUP EVEN ?
 
not sure Colm i already set up my own mycharity page, i can see if i can edit it to a group one, whatever money i can raise Google( who i work for) will match so it will effectively double and funds raised.
 
yeah no point in you doing it as you can raise more true google
But ISDC could do it as a group if we got the numbers
we could do it at the a.g.m.
would be great craic

good man Colm, make it happen! I'll stick up some pics tomorrow showing the shedding of my precious hair, might help get the ball rolling for other to get involved. Set up a group event on mycharity.ie and ill try my best to persuade Google to gift match whatever is raised. I might need to shave my head for my charity page and then dye it for ISDC group page! I wonder would i make a nice blonde!

yes never shaved it this tight before so sitting here on the couch and its like there is a window open behind me!

remember lads whatever you donate is effectively doubled by Google at he end which is great.
 
you will get used to it after a day or so
also you can save a few quid on shampoo
wich can go towards your build :icon_grin:
