gearbox oil/ diff oil help

hi all,

my car need topping up of gearbox oil what oil would be suitable for a impreza v4 and how much :ponder: would it be difficult to top up :ponder:

is there a seperate dipstick for the diff and where do i check if it needs topping up :ponder:
