GIF Files

Can you not use gif files as avatars?

Would you be able to change your file, save as jpg instead & then upload that?
 
my avator is a gif file :icon_grin: , i just right click on the image on the website, and click save as it saves as a image and then you can upload it as your avator :thumbsup:

As you can see it didnt work

I right clicked and chose "save as", typed in the name.gif but underneath it wanted to save as a bitmap file with no other options. I tried saving both with .gif on the end of the name and without .gif as well but no joy :icon_cry:

was that image a animated one it wont work otherwise? when you right click on it and pick "save as" you dont type anything underneath at all , it should have for example name.gif

what site is that animated image on i might be able to get it to work properly
