Good mechanic for Subaru in Dublin

Hi guys,

where, those of you living in Dublin, do you repair your Subarus in Dublin area?
I'm looking for a garage where could I not only change my brakepads - but take out gearbox to fix synchronizers and so on.
Garage with guys that knows Subaru, not only Opels, VWs etc.

Dave is extrtemly busy alright, He was talking of giving Sat over each week for Suabru work only but he hasent got around to it yet. Dave or else as Alan said its worth traveling to Car Torque.
 
try this no.0872750077 gary sweeden,he used to be be top mechanic and fault finder in airside subaru,i beleive he is working for himself now and is based on the northside ,he also done all the tricky bits on dave lewis car

LOL I wouldent say that now :ponder:. Swid wired AVCR and thats it.
 
what are you laughing at damo,thats what dave told me myself

and remember dave only got his first subaru this time last

dont get my wrong dave is a very good mechanic and i get him to work on any car i drive

he is just to busy doingwith his day work thats why i past on that no.
 
I was laughing at the suggestion that Swid took care of the tricky bits on Daves car apart from wiring in the AVCR. Nothing against you. Ask Dave again maybe you got it wrong or Dave was giving credit where it wasent due  :dunno:. I dont know why it matters that Dave only got a Subaru whenever he did so cant comment on that. And I know Daves just to busy, Thats why I suggested Car Torque aswell. Dave is modest and speaks very highly of Swid but a little unfair to suggest Swid had much to do with his car after the pure time and effort Dave has put in. Ask Dave again exactly what Swid did and im sure he will tell you he wired the AVCR and thats it.  Swid done a few AVCR's for me aswell and is sound a guy and is very good and sure he's a great mechanic. Just dident have much to do with Daves car thats all :thumbsup:

as above, Dave has done all the work on his own car himslef except wiring AVC-R think thread gives immpression of a lot less then this............  very un-fair.......
 
whats unfair is dave, you saying that im a liar, cause im not talkin about what impression his tread gives .im saying what he said to me himself.maybe i shouldnt have said "ALL THE TRICKY BITS" but i remember dave telling me he(sweeden) helped alot and especially on daves first car(bugeye)as dave didnt know much about them back then......very un-fair.....
 
sorry but i was only trying to create a picture of somebody,, as in sweeden,for rude boy whos lookin for a mehanic in Dublin,i would normally say dave was the man to go to as ive sent lots of other lads to him b4 and his work is exellent,but dave told me himself that he is just to busy.
lets forget about it ,im sure dave will correct me if im wrong when he sees this,hopefully before saturday as im doing work in his place then
 
No ones saying your a liar Johny, just crossed wires when you said Daves car we took it you ment his current car thats all. Forget about it no big deal.
