had a pothole experience :angry1: a while back and want the grids back on so they need a lick .

priviosionally made up my mind but would like your opinions , cheers

if ill go to buy them and they will be black i would leave them black coz looks good on ur scob. if i may choose colour ill go for gold!

Not sure exactly what oz gold is like but a bright gold would look savage and give the car a lift imo. I think the wheels currently look great but they dull the overall look of the car. But maybe I'm just "over" matt paint.

If you don't go gold, I'd vote for gloss black as at least there will be some shine in there to compliment the paint.

Dunno where you're planning on getting them done, but if you are going with wheel wizards, you should ask them to see a sample of the paint they used on mine to match the BBS gold. I think its a great colour but I suppose its personal preference at the end of the day

Would you not go for a nice dark bronze or something a little less ordinary?

will them wheels fit classic? looks nice on bug but not too much classics run them! they are next on my wish list!

tbh im torn between the two , agee with both sides ,and dec i had also considered that colour deep silver ,class pic and making decision even harder .

il agree that performance is comprimised due to the rim size/ tyre combination but its a hit im willing to take . also have my 17's for trackday and the likes . but the grids held up well on the mountain pass so was pleased enough on that front .

bronze just doesnt do it for me

yeah robbie il prob talk to wheel wizards as they seem to have a good rep . your happy with the work they did for you ?

Very happy with their work Ross, I thought it was really excellent and a very helpful and accommodating attitude for someone who was struggling to get wheels to them inside normal working hours. The job is still holding up well a few months on.

They have a code for the bbs gold they used on mine and have the code for the Speedlines gold they used on graham's. We got them to paint the colour for e30 extra as the powder colour leaves what look like lines when you look closely. My advice would be, if going black, then powder black colour, if going gold, then have them paint the colour before powder laquering it

3 wheels good nick , one wheel potholed ,so was cracked on inside lip , have had it welded by "bc" in navan but the outer edge of the rim is tarnished from 100 yard drive to pull in . hence the refurb . two good nankang + and two badly worn ones . dont expect to get offered what id want, so if you would like to try work away but i reckon il be holding onto them .

im still SICK i sold magnesium oz's

This is a tough one as black is my favourite colour but for those wheels I would go with Gold.
