Has anyone ever used terra clean?

Know some who got it done and swear bye it not subarus
no power gain from it on rollers I think
what car you doing subarus do the foam in the intercooler
forget the name
dealers sell it comes in a Subaru can
sea foam it might be called
but never see much talk of it on here
I. Assume it works as its supplied bye Subaru
 
Sea foam colm don't know where you'd get it Ian knows of someone that does terra clean close to him

I know lad doing it got my diesel vectra done
mileage claims better
actual not noticed any difference definatly noticed a change in engine note as soon as was done sounded better
Have seen couple cars failed nct on emission pass after terraclean and nothing else done
I was chatting agent for it he claims Subaru endorse it and it's included in service for Subaru Canada

Supposed to be good for diesels and direct injection motors benefit best apparently.
 
If your knocking all that carbon deposit off from the inside of the engine would it not get snagged In the turbo and cylinders and all that
 
I'd be wary of it for that reason aswell Keith. Same lines as using those oil flush treatments, especially on high milers. If it's not broken, leave alone. But then I've yet to hear of any engine coming out worse or going bang a while after so it must do it in a way that's not too coarse on the engine.
 
When I had the 535d I got it done

MPG increased
smoother engine
acceleration felt much more responsive.

Worked wonders on the car. Dont know how it would fair with subaru's etc
 
Thanks for the response lads had the same thought of 15 years of gunk being suddenly freed up and going somewhere maybe best left alone.

I asked that question as well said never had a problem like that can't remember exactly but was somethin about the way it burns it
Did say only problems ever came across was when leaky injectors that were blocked up from carbon started leaking again
Said it was underlying fault with car that came back to light when carbon was cleaned said was handful of cars it happened to in England
