Hawkeye Boot Lamp Switch

Would anyone know the part number for the boot lamp switch for a MY06 Sti?

Was in C & R today but can?t find it on the diagram.

Just seeing this now, hopefully this diagram and part number can be of some help. I can't post pics because I'm not a member but pictures are linked below. Switch is located under pedal system. I'm surprised they couldn't find it for you.

Not sure which part number applies, I'm sure when they enter your chassis into the system, it will narrow down the number.

I think he's looking for the light switch in the boot operated from the latch

Yes it is actually the boot latch switch, can it be sourced separately or do you have to buy the whole unit inc. striker.

I can't find it on any diagram. I'll have another look tomorrow but I'd say it's the full unit. Could get second hand.

EDIT: Did a bit of research and it is a bit of a troublesome thing. It?s definitely the full assembly but one guy on a forum said he jiggled the switch around and another said he filed a piece down so it?s anyone?s guess.

Could be a plan alright,

The top retainer/guide for the micro switch seems to separate from the main part and create a lip which wears the slide.
