Help with my impreza

Just joined, I have a 95 impreza but i dont have a whole lot done to it so far.It has your usual mushroom induction kit and unknown branded dumpvalve,it boosting at 0.8 bar. has a turbo timer and basically thats it.oh and its still running on jap fuel. im looking to start doin something with it so any suggestions would be appreciated.

REMAP. Talk to dave legacy (STI Tuning) Or Renno (Streetperformance).
VERY important, And worth every penny :thumbsup:
AKAIK its dodgy runnin a mushroom filter without the car being mapped for it also.
Throw in a 255lph fuel pump and a decat or highflow cat downpipe for more power :D
 
Mine's never had a remap and has been in the country for a good few years. I think the older Imprezas can run on 95RON okay as long as you're not redlining it. However, a remap will give you peace of mind :thumbsup:

Or... run your car on Maxol E5 which is 99RON :thumbsup:
 
Run her on Maxol E5 unleaded with A half bottle of Octane booster (that makes jap spec fuel) You'll have to get A new ecu as I dont think yours is mappable!
So Get in touch with Davelegacy (STI Tuning) or Renno (Street Performance) They will give you your options!

Don't do anything without talking to one of these first! If you don't know what you are doing with a scooby she'll break handy enough, But if you look after her properly she'll do right by you for a long time!

how much am i looking at for a remap?roughly??
 
Just under €1300 if i recall correctly.
Renno gets a guy over from england (Pat Herborn) to do the mapping, he's gifted.
Google his name, no doubt you'll find plenty about him

The 92-96 can be mapped using ESL so that could be an option for you.

The Apexi is about that but ESL is a good bit cheaper.
