Stayed there myself, very nice place.

Def stay in the Mirage its a savage spot. Went there in October and stayed there for the week. Good food and plenty of drink. the pool is nice and the servers are even nicer. Plenty to do in the hotel. Jet nightclub is very good and also the Beatles LOVE show is there aswell. A must see even if you dont like the Beatles the acrobats are unreal but book early in the day because its very busy all the time and also request the back 2 rows of seats as there the best views. Drink is free while your gambling but when out at nite is bars and clubs dont be fooled into getting VIP tables because there a scam. The Venetian and Caesars are very cool hotels not sure about the rooms tho. Rooms in the Mirage are very big and clean. can email ya on a few pics of the place if you want. ID is required all the time and on each visit to the bar for every drink which is a pain in the hole but ya get used to it. The secret garden is not worth the price of the tickets to be honest. If your other half is into the celebs she will be in her element there everywhere. The Playboy club in the Palms is worth the visit at night. its on the 51st floor so there are brilliant views of Vegas at night. Any other questions just shout. fu*k im very jealous would love to be heading back by far the best holiday I have ever been on.

id love to go there, but wouldnt have a clue where to start looking or what to do or where to go.
was googling for a package hol, but with who and what would be the best.

sorry for hijack dan.

We tried Trailfinders and travelpaths but in the end our local travel agents had the cheapest prices. €1010 each for flights and hotel. Went over there Halloween holidays so it was a bit dearer. Ridiculous ampunt of things to do out there.

Didnt get to do either of these as we only had the week there. Grand Canyon Helicopter tour is brilliant and they fly up the strip at night.

Try touramerica.ie if your looking for package.

Im going to try price it myself and then with travel agents to see the difference in prices etc

Keep the suggestions coming lads, The Hemsley hotel looks like a good options guys

The Park central hotel in New York was fantastic, I stayed in the Benjamin Hotel there too 5 star as a treat for her birthday for 3 nights and the Park Central was better! Quite modern and spacious for New York, central park is up to your left, times square down to the right. Also have heard Fitzpatricks is quality, nothin but good reviews.

I stayed in the Ameritania Hotel in NY last month. 700euro for two of us for one week. A bit old inside but grand for somewhere to sleep as you will be out of the hotel all day anyway. Walking distance to Times Square too.
