Clifford alarm concept 650. With window lifts, turbo timer and remote start!! And obviously blackjax and prox sensor... Cost 1300.

what a spec..are you crazy selling it? any power figures guestimations even?

that is a nice spec...and a savage nice looking car...i know a lad looking for a car just like it....like the tv show says..IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT

Sorry to see your sellin up Shane. No doubht someone is going to get a bargain.

sounds savages and looks lovly id love one :dance:wouldn't even think of selling if i were u :subaru: :subaru: :subaru:

Wow savage spec Shane,
It's a hard call as Norris say's a nice clean one
straight off the boat with VRT expect to pay €16,000
give or take..............

Your car should be worth way more €€€€€ :D but with all the crap
one's knocking about for alot less it's hard to say :dunno: :dunno:

Niall.

Lovely car shane, Just bought a MY00 V-limited WRC special edition yesterday for €16,000. VRT and all paid. I'm the first Irish owner. It had been advertised for €17500. So i'd say advertise for €16000 but be prepared to drop on that! Best of luck with the sale. :subaru:

You need to ask yourself - what would you let it go for. :dunno: Then add about €3000 on top of that - should give you a figure you'd use first. If you have no interest, then drop that figure - you'd still be above the price you want for it.

Looking at what is out there (it's a buyers market at the moment), they range between €19000 to €13000 for 1998's. Be prepared to lose anything between 60-75% €€€ on what you put into the car. You'll never make your money back when it comes to a motor vehicle. If you can live with that, I'd say - Sell. Otherwise, it might make more sense to hold on to her for now, unless you really need the cash.

My professional opinion. :D

Depends what parts are on it and who done the work. Ive looked at 99 Ver 5 cars that had around 400bhp and over with all the proper mods and forged engine and I would have been happy to pay 20 grand for it. 16 grand for that car would be silly. The only way out of that is to strip it and put it back to standard and sell the forged engine and everything else IMO.

Thanks for the comments lads. In fairness, 16k is insulting. With gt spec headers and lucas booster you'd be looking at one of the fastest scoobies in southern Ireland. Its already one of the fastest ones around. I'd like to see one on this site that could beat it. (besides dave lewis- thats a different story!!) I'm not stuck for cash so I can hold out. If I got a really nice offer I would consider depending on what it was but again I'm not stuck...
And yea, strip and sell is an option but its messy. I'm too lazy for that!! :D

Personally I'd say it has to be somewhere around 350bhp if not more. and again it has a turbo rated at 450bhp.

I don't need a car at the mo so I would like to think of someone having fun with it.

A mate of mine has a 330bhp evo VII and he thinks my BEAST is significantly faster.

ps I defo don't want to start a STI v EVO debate on this thread. :noway:

i dont think you'll have many people arguing for the Evo here Max

You have a ''mate'' that has a evo
just kiddin Id say your car is worth 20k with that spec savage car...

Shane defo hold onto it if you can......
Your car has a lovely spec, the problem is trying to find someone
willing to pay the big bucks for your car + all the mod's.
When they can buy a clean car no mods straight of the boat
for €16k .

So will we see you at the RR in October looks like you will be giving Dave Lewis
a run for his money :D

Niall.
