"At the end of the day, its only a piece of metal and we got out"

At the end of the day it is only metal and plastic, which can all be replaced.

It's one thing I've learnt though front doing a few track days, having a few offs and basically writing one car off. If you bring a car on a track, sh!t can go t!ts end up very easily. You have to be able to accept that you could lose your car in a big off. One wrong snap at pace and you can easily veer off into a barrier etc, even with a good run off. On grass you won't stop in a hurry...

thats why id never run my own car on track..seeing some of the dangerous fools last time wouldn't trust the others not to hit you either

Easiest thing is to leave the idiots off and hold a nice space for yourself. There's plenty of them there but you can usually spot them after a lap or two.

Best thing is to get a track car though.
Don't think I'd put the STi Wagon on the track - maybe the 'Ring but not Mondello or anything.
