Unless you have the music already in your iTunes library... In case you've lost music on your PC - iTunes won't let you copy it back from iPod touch/iPhone
iTunes will only let you sync the music from PC to iPod Touch but not the other way around... It's intended behavior, something about piracy prevention LOL
John!
I understand you've lost the music in iTunes on your PC..
You will need special software to recover it back from your iPod Touch. Try http://www.tansee.com/iphonetransfer.html There is a free trial version you can download. It's for iPhone - but there is no difference

i beg to differ man...
i normally buy all my songs from the pc but yesterday i bought 8 songs from i tunes but on my i touch and when i charged it later that day the songs where listed in my purchases on pc!!!
Aww that makes a big difference mate! Purchased content is treated different way in iTunes ... you can always select "Transfer Purchases from iPod" from File menu in iTunes to do so..
But it won't copy the not-purchased content (like songs downloaded or imported from cd's) You must use the 3rd party software in that case
