Import from Japan

Just bought a version 5 in from Japan. Wondering should I get it mapped to suit Irish fuel. New to the subaru scene so any help much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Until then I'd use nf booster to keep it as safe as possible Ciaran in asd sells it

Hi,

Lovely type r,

best advice is always map for Irish fuel to avoid the need for octane booster, a few reputable guys doing it here, aonghus power (AP performance) - Dave @rsr automotive gets a very good UK mapper very regularly, they will advice best course of action for your needs,

Yea brings the Ron of the petrol up and this in turn reduce knock or det
Few good mappers on here ap performance in galway gets great result and has a great reputation

You can map the V5 ecu. I would get it mapped ASAP so you can enjoy it without ****ing around with octane booster as it's not ideal.

Have a look at west coast performance. There near listowel. Iv never used them but they seem to do a lot of stuff....
