Impreza patrol car chase uk

Seen it before but great chase, in fairness d brits have great machinery and training to tackle the criminals

Mental! Some speeds they were reaching in built up areas!

Mostly OK and good driving / control / judgement... Few hairy moments alright and one close enough one with an oncoming vehicle where there was a traffic island. I guess they didn't want to lose him given the potential severity of the offence by the occupant, but high risk in places. Just imagine a kid ran out from in between parked cars to look at the chase in some of the residential areas they went through...

Thought the police driver was in control for about the first half of the chase but got a bit too involved later on which is totally understandable.

Hard to know the assessments going on but seemed high risk to me given how buildup the area was. At least the general standard of driving is better in the UK IMO, much less likely someone would pull out in front or something as might happen in irleand, clearly the guards here don't have the vehicles and probably training is not as comprehensive as the UK.

Imagine it over here, garda in the shiny new i40 chasing a TDi Passat on coilovers! all with a combined 190bhp

Very good enjoyed that

Good driving from Police they really wanted him

Love the X5 ending the chase ☺

From the coms it sounded like it was murder suspect. Also, 'high risk - buildup area' if they gave up there, all criminals would know that cops will give up with slightly increased risk of civilian getting hurt and they would start using it to their advantage - as a cop, once you do the move, you cannot step back, otherwise it will be taken as point of 'weakness' and potential escape route...
