Hi guys just looking for a cheap run about at the moment was looking at possibly a 2007 impreza sports wagon 2.0 r/rx. Are you aware of any problems/issues with these to keep an eye out for. I know they are heavy enough on fuel, but I do very little mileage but would be interested to know typical mileage per tank all the same. Any input or thoughts would be appreciated.

I have a 2007 Hawk 2.0 n/a wagon.
Fuel thirst is a subjective thing really............I get 33 mpg from mine...
I only do about 8k miles a year so compared to a 40 mpg regular daily car like an astra or focus, I don't think the difference is too awful noticeable.
The only trouble I've had with mine was the secondary air valves giving up. These can be bought second hand but I replaced them with new. I also had to do the air compressor. There wasn't much change from €1000 when I was done.
Apart from that, I've never had a day's trouble from it.
I put air con in to mine, mainly because the car I had previous to it had it and I missed it. I think a lot of the 2.0 cars don't have it.
I've had mine for 6 and a half years now. I suppose that alone says something.
