Guys pick up a copy of The Sun news paper today if u can, they have a 2 page spread on the new model, i think the best comment they have given it is saying it has loads of leg and head room in the back :hang:

I read it, It's a black day for impreza, Impreza is dead, Shot down in the Prime of live by the Evo 10, with some under hand stab you in the back work done by the subaru design Staff. As the Article say, Impreza is dead long live Evo!!!!!! And that was a women that said that. The very ones that subaru are aiming their new Car at. She even said that she was insulted to think that subaru though women where only enterested in boring Bland, Dull un imaginative cars.

Good man JohnnyB for the Page Three. Only thing worth looking at.

Personally I'd be more turned on by the Legacy 3.0 Spec B at the bottom of the page than either of them ... but maybe that's a symptom of getting "mature"?   ;)

"THE Legacy has always been the sensible Subaru appealing to a more mature audience.

But Subaru have decided that mature drivers might also quite fancy a little bit of the Impreza devil, just in a more understated way.

Enter the Legacy 3.0 R Spec B – a car that looks sedate enough but this is a Subaru that has a dark and surprisingly sporty side to it. There are no hints on the outside of what lurks under the bonnet, apart from a nice set of alloys and the discreet Spec B badge.

Do you think the hatchback Impreza might have originally been a design for the new Justy, and they just added a "scoop" to the bonnet?????

Emma Parker Bowles certainly didn't like it much either, in her article This new Impreza just mings (also in the 2-page Sun spread).

ah, im still young yet, plenty of years left till maturity kicks in :D

Good for you!

I wish I could say the same, and I'm afraid I'm going to be even more "mature" tomorrow ...

Never mind, I'm going for a curry in Kilkee tomorrow night (in O'Curry Street - I kid you not!) to "celebrate" my birthday, then "bring on ze dancing girls!"  :guinness:

Yep, I told them they should call it "the O'Curry House", but they didn't get it ...

i thought the one good thing that came out of the article was this quote>>>> "Subaru UK tell me the cult WRX Sti version will look hornier than the standard Impreza and will get more pronounced flared wheel arches, a big bonnet air intake and gold alloys to pull in male buyers. They say the car will have improved handling and steering capabilities, plus more bhp performance that will satisfy the diehard Scooby fans" <<<< i suppose you could take this as a small positive i mean how many of us would have bought or like the standard classic????

Alan,

Oh yes, that STi wagon would do me nicely thanks.  Do they have it in green? ;)

(I only mentioned the Spec B because it was at the bottom of the same 2-page spread as the articles about the new Impreza; and I fancied it more than what was on page 3 too ... must be getting old! )
