Has anyone used one of these little gadgets in Ireland?
It very cheap, and good reviews.
I'm not sure if it would work in Ireland though?

On their website says it legal?
It's the same thing as getting the camera's set up on your gps i think :ponder:
 
Detectors are not illegal as they only give info to the driver,
what is illegal are radar jammers, but again there's a way
around that too, if you happen to have garage doors that are remotely
operated or electrick gates, then you also have to prove that you have,
and the jammer doubles as a romote for your gates, so that is
what your intended purpose for having the device is :thumbsup:
 
The detectors are not illegal to own but they are illegal to use.
Why would you use a frequency jammer to open gates they dont work in the same way at all??
 
why would these be illegal??...the spirit of the law and reasoning behind speed cameras is to make people to slow down, not to generate revenue. having said that these should be given free of charge to the drivers by rsa:)
 
Ah that makes more sense, Its a transponder that has a built in relay to activate gates or any thing that switches for that matter.
But i still think its only a detector not a jammer it only detects laser devices and warns you. Good website man :thumbsup:
