looks like they now know what the b4 is .. my policy with hibernian last year was €770 fully comp ... got my quote yesterday €1667 !!!!!! told me they reveiwed the b4 ..
28 , full no claims and no points even tho i work as a service engineer 1000 miles a week ! . rang Axa .... €665 fully comp ... whats going on ... shop around lads ..
 
im with hibernian nearly 4 years and i've had my B4 insured with them for two years i havent got my renewal quote off them yet but i know i wont b stayin with them when i do
 
Fookin hell :shock: I'm with quinn and it was €1800 last year and got a renewal this yr and it was €2100 but but i got a quote on the website for €1700,rang them up wit the reference number and got it for the cheaper price :D :D
 
Got my Insurance for 950Euro with Quinn. 3 weeks later put in the same info on the website and said they wouldnt quote me even though im already driving the car and insured with them on it!! 26, full licence, full no claims and 0 points!!
Reckon the jig may be up with cheap insurance on B4's. They were under the radar for a while but more in the country etc etc flagged them i reckon..

Sure you'd get a fully comp garage policy for that!!

It was only a matter of time lads..... the B4 is more popular than ever especially with the younger drivers so the insurance companies were bound to cop on - just surprised they took so long......

Exact same thing happened to me. I'm 23 now but had to renew at 22 with 2years no claims and 2 penalty points, Quinn sent a renewal for €2,200, went online and got it for €1650. Not up until October so I'm ok for a while

Maybe Foresters are still under the radar, I insured my '03 turbo last year for €474 fully comp with AA. As it happens mine is still for sale if anyone interested :D
 
Im with hibernian and got my renewal there in december for 1400,ive paid for the year so hopefully it wont go up much more at the end.................i hope :shock: :shock:
 
Ya lads,unfortunatly insurance companys are after clicking on to the b4's!
got a quote before christmas for €1100,now it gone up to €2K on a B4!
I also got a quote on a 92 RS legacy of €5,200 :shock: :shock: :shock:Thats more than the price of the fooking car :wall: :wall:
 
i,m still over the moon with Axa .. grand cheaper then hibernian ,. i,m safe for a year .. surely theres one of us on the site working in insurance .. i think we all cover every ocupation . :)
