Whats everyones view on insurance with modifications?
Has any1 declared there mods?
If you don't declare them, its essentially driving with no insurance so are we fecked if we mod in anyway?
declare them your better off i gave my insurance all the details of my can my cover went up slightly and excess was doubled but best to do it incase of something happening also your covered for mods if car stolen
i declared my wheels , suspension and exhaust system . wheels and suspension were considered standard upgrade parts as they are by pro-drive but exhaust was extra 30 quid i think , worth doing imo

I had my old car insured standard and then started modding it. told the insurance everything I did to it and it didn't put the insurance or excess up or down.
Would agree that its better to declare anything just for your own piece of mind if anything did happen...
defo declare. otherwise you may aswell not have insurance.
insure the car, and add the mods a little later. but do it =)
liberty have an online system for adding mods which is great but i think its more accurate if you call.
well sometimes if u do say its modifed in any way other then factory standed ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,their say no cant insure ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,even if ya all ready insured
