Insuring modified cars?

its getting harder and harder to insure high performance cars in this country. if you dont declare the mods on the car and you have a crash, the insurance companys wont pay out cause they are w###ers 
your best bet is to ring around and find out. its luck of the draw some companys wont insure you but will insure others on the same car and vice versae

As said here. Also some insurance companies see some mods as OEM and don't increase your premium. Best thing to do is contact them before buying and fitting mods.
