Internet Explorer?

I have used Opera Browser for years and its just gotten worse for crashing and freezing so I have started using Internet Explorer( last used Version 5). My question is....

HOW DO I STOP THE BLOODY THING FROM MAKING CLICKING NOISES ALL THE FECKING TIME! its driving me mental.

OK I just downlanded Firefox and it took all my bookmarks and passwords from Opera and brought them all over into Firefox for me. Excellent.
