Ireland v Bulgaria

Its hard to watch after seeing the effort the rugby lads put in last week for the irish jersey and then the soccer lads wont even support each other.

italy are not a great team either lads!!!
ireland are just so poor...missed damien duff yesterday....
very hard to watch them on tv let alone to pay into croker to watch it!!!

I was at the match still horse from screaming at kilbane..stink is t0o kind a word...robbie keane? useless...Kevin Doyle is a quality player about the only positive
 
Kevin doyle is a real quality, still amazes me that he isn't with a top team in the prem,
Given played a great game, made some top saves,
Mcgeedy wasn't given the opertunity too fun, he had too track back too far and couldnt run at people, no critisizim should be on him, its the way the tactics were put out and he looked uncomfortable, (should have scored though)
The 2 lads in the centre have no creativity at all and i find them very hard too watch playing... They are so so poor as players for international.....
I actually though kilbane was quite solid for most the game,
O shae played a top game with dunne. But mcshane was piss poor........
Thats my 2 cents about the game lads.
 
McGreddy? rubbish he had at least 3-4 crosses not one of them where decent..he had plenty of oppertunity in the second half..he's not good enough..Andrews I thought was good but he needs someone creative with him..Andy Reid maybe...cos whealen is so average you forget he's there
 
I just like mcgeedy as a player so i do overlook one or two things,
But I dont like andrews at all, gives away the ball, Mayb it is the partnership with wheelan, I was listening too the commentry and the commentator kept callin andrews "wheelan", but it showed how little that wheelan does as they completely forgot about him.
 
IMO McGeady is very much like Nani for United, loves running straight into people and doing a load of step overs but can't cross a ball or give a good pass! :wall:

exactly at the ND of the day its all about end product..there's loads of players around at the moment the media get a hard on for who IMO don't deserve it because they waste so much possesion..Arron Lennon, Wright Philips, McGreedy all over rated
 
I dont really look ath lennon, i do wright philips and agree, but what i find with mcgeedy is that he can open up allot of oppertunities, and he does run at players which ireland need. He's one of a few players that can get out of a tight situation and he gets the odd shot away from outside the box. Which can uplift the team.
 
Sad to say but I may have just watched my last ireland soccer game!
At least we have the rugby lads to do us proud!
