jail breaking a ipad

I bought a ipad 3 for Herself today for Christmas
I was wondering if anyone had advice on jail braking it
am i best off leaving well alone due to warranty etc.
or should i jail beak it ?
any advice appreciated

I jailbroke an iPhone and it was the worst thing I ever did. It froze multiple times a day and was so slow I nearly bounced it off the wall. It's not worth in my opinion.
 
Colm just leave it as is it will feck it up over time warranty void aswell if it goes wrong its a lot of euros in the bin :thumbsup:
 
Why would she need it jailbroken colm? Wouldn't bother with it, if it turns out that she wants to do it in the new year, then do it then but I would expect it won't make a difference to her?

just wanted to have it all pimped up before i gave it to her
sounds like there best left alone
got her a i phone 5 yesterday as well think ill leave that alone too
