anyone know what the drive comfort is like on the Jap RX8 ?
Is it the same as UK model or rock hard like most Jap cars ?

Hello Father Ted,
I had an Irish spec RX8 in 2004, my friend bought a jap spec one later that year. Both cars were the same to drive.

Thats exactly what I wanted to hear.....Wife is looking for a new car.. needs to have 4 doors. she was asking about a RAV4 and I told her that Gordon Murray gets very upset about that. I am tryin to steer her towards a RX8 but she was worried that the suspension would be too hard like my Impreza or my old Integra Type R

You would be surprised by the room in the back
The suspension is not that firm. The car isn't a "sports car" as such, its more of a looker.
One thing they are a pig on pertol, I was getting about 20-23mpg no matter how I drove it
The engine is great, its very smooth and likes to be revved to bits
They do burn oil aswell, to lube the rotary tips.... So this must be checked every three to four petrol fills. If you do not check it, it will flash up a waring light, it will also derate the car if driven too long.

Hello Father Ted,
I got an Irish one, it was called an exclusive: six speed, high power (235ish), leather, loads of toys etc.
Lovely car, but no scooby.....not much grip in the wet with the traction control off.
The red metalic is very nice....

My friend bought a Jap one less than a month ago. Very nice car, but he says it's dead compared to my scooby
