Just dropped laptop - screen problem!

Can you get the screen replaced on a laptop for a few quid?
I just dropped it and now the right hand corner looks like it has an internal crack in it and ink blob on it, its proper fubar'd anyway!
Can this be fixed reasonably? Its not a new laptop nor is it top of the range buts its 100% fine for me, until just now!! ( its an Advent9915W)

new screen needed. About 100 euro for the screen plus labour if you want to pay someone to fix it which could be anywhere between 50-100 euro
 
if you can meet me in finglas i can give it to my mate to repair hes very decent with prices ect if you pm me the details of your laptop make model ect ill get a price if it suits thn you can drop it to me i work in finglas thurs, fri and sun hope this helps alan

Also agreed! Surely it has to be half that! Sure i only paid about €500 for it 4 years ago

you could try brokenscreen.ie.. they offer a good service.. collect and return in a couple of days
