Just failed my NCT..just!

Dip beam on the passenger side was a bit wide!,but sure i hada guarantee from the garage i bought it so it'll get sort on monday & then in for a re-test.

Made the testers day though when he got to test my leggy,he was very impressed with it & i qoute "usually i test sh*t cars like fiats but your car is really nice,it jumped off the rollers unlike the rest of the crap!"

Please tell me he didn't put your car on the rollers :pray: :shock2:
 
You sure it was the rollers and not just the bouncing plates to test your shocks?? Those rollers are very bad for the four wheel drive cars!! Did you tell them it was 4wd??
 
Ohhhh man....Fooking tester did that to my first scooby not reealising when her turned two wheels all four would react! Car jumped off rollers and tore the brake lines. Guy tests brakes... fluid pissed out all over the place and he failed it on faulty brakes! GOBSHITE!!!! :wall: :wall:
 
Yeah he put it on the rollers allrite,sure he hadnt a clue wat a legacy was until after the test,he only realised it was 4WD at the last stage when he got it up on the lift,ah well!
 
the two occasions i've brought cars to the NCt,not a peep out of them,just give me your keys, i have to say i got off lighty has on the far bay they closed the shutter on the back window of someones peugeot!
 
ive never been asked if my car was 4wd, ive done about 5 tests up in ballymun.. would you have full comeback if this damaged your car?
 
Insist you tell them.................

4wd have to be driven on the road for their brake test,...........

NCT staff would not have known this and pursued it in an incorrect manner....???????????
 
have had 4 or 5 tests in two years on the same car,i failed on stupid little bits,
but they did ask me was it 4 wheel drive.

sure half the idiots dont know what there doing.
last time i failed was cos he said the diff was too tight and he said it would lock up on me. :lol:
retard.....i had to buy another diff 800 yoyos :icon_evil:

agree they are a shower of numties, but if you know your car has viscous ie uk etc. it's nice to see the brake test as it can show up a weakness in any corner. the road test is only done wiyh a g meter
