Karma

Karma is a new feature... just trying it out at the moment.

Give kudos to those on the forum who you think deserve it by clicking 'applaud' underneath the forum member's profile... their Karma rating increases by one.

Anyone you think is undeserving of Karma can be deducted points by clicking 'smite'.

As said, dunno how long this will last, but we'll see if it gets used and whether it's a worthy addition. I can easily deactivate it

Features...

• Your Karma is rated as plus and minus now rather than an overall rating. Now you can see how many 'applauds' and 'smites' you've been given.

• You need 50+ posts on the forum to be able to dish out Karma to your 'friends'

• You can only give Karma to the same forum member once every 5.55 hours.

• The first member to receive a -100 Karma Rating will be banned*

I've changed the time for repeated hammering of the Karma rating from one hour to 5.55 hours

Just to clarify some technical aspects for those who have questions...

You can hammer as many people as you want. You can only hit that person once in a 5.55 hour period.

You cannot see who has been giving you Karma... it is totally anonymous
