Large box/crate to UK

Lads want to send an item over to the UK, to protect it I've made a wooden box, it measures 1.4m long 0.5m high 0.5m wide..
The length is slightly over the 1.2m of a pallet, so seems to push it to 2 pallet space ffs, probably only weighs 100-150kg.. any ideas on what way to do it or who to use

Can you shorten the box and angle the item inside from bottom of one corner to the "top" of the far corner? It'll be taller but will fit the single pallet?

No I can't shorten it anything

Problem is they are all around same price for standard size pallet, but once you put in that it's longer than standard pallet it's more than doubling the price.
