Leak in the boot

Hi folks
Wash the car yesterday and left the car on the driveway as had to go off..when I came back I notice damp spots on the carpet of the boot any idea where to start to look for water getting in..

It could be the seals around the taillights are perished or the seal around the bootlid that's perished. Worst case scenario is that the metal under the seal has corroded and water is passing through there. Unfortunately for me, it's the last on mine.

Cheer for the reply I will have a look the weekend as I am going to take off the road to make a new stainless steel exhaust system for it
