Blue, Manual, 150k kms, NCT & Tax 5/13
After 8 years of happy driving, I'm looking to sell the 02 Legacy Blitzen (an Exiga or (shudder) a Tribeca will soon be a more appropriate Subaru car for me
).
Imported with one Japanese owner in 2005 via japnuts.com (auction grade 4)
Did an EcuTek tune for 95 RON fuel immediately (which happened to bump power from 290 to 300/223 kW in the process - have the dyno plot to confirm). Not sure I buy the theory that the Rev D's new DENSO ECU is fine without it - does anyone have a knocklink installed and can verify (I have the knocklink and you have to do a lot to get a flicker of even the minimum light)?
No mods; it's still got the McIntosh sound system (with an MP3 input jack), an Irish alarm/immobiliser/remote central locking system to replace the lightweight Japanese stock one and said KnockLink display just in case but is stock other than that. Included is a Panasonic Japanese spec DVD-based satnav & TV combo unit I've never been able to figure out (with Japanese manuals included)
As traditional, the middle cup holder spring has given up the ghost (EDIT: The spring had just jumped out and I can now say there's not a single control not working!)
Excellent condition inside and out (OK, minimum statutory Irish carpark-induced blemishes if you look for them)
Being a Blitzen 02 (as opposed to a Blitzen 01 first registered in 02 which happens), it's Gen 3 Rev D spec (see http://www.uklegacy.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=108446&st=0&p=380637&#entry380637 for rundown) - Blitzen adds front LSD, STi tower bar, custom front/rear bumpers and spoiler, bespoke interior and sports seats - rest is pretty much standard B4/GT-B spec. Rev D tech spec article with way too much detail for slighly detuned Australian spec: http://autospeed.com/cms/title_Subaru-Liberty-B4-Tech-Overload/A_1242/article.html
Oil & filter changed religiously with full invoices and servicing records supplied. Never come within a mile of any issues with NCT. Major servicing initially at Barkel Motors (until they closed down and mechanic moved to Castle Garage Bray - inc timing belt done at 100k km). One major service by McKinstry Motorsport (recommended).
Standard JDM RSK B4/GT-B features: 280 PS rated twin turbo, ABS, AWD, Adjustable Steering Wheel, Air Conditioning, CD player, Electric Windows / driver seat / mirrors, km/h speedometer/odometer, HID lights, factory McIntosh sound system, MD player, Multiple Airbags (inc Rev D side ones in the seats), Rear Head Rests, Sports suspension, too many cupholders.
Always warmed and cooled gently. Never messed with, crashed or abused.
