Right, so i was up the local PA (parking area - AKA - the Celbridge Esso :? ) last night. it was about 12 oclock, me parked next to one of my mates and then there was two other groups of two cars parked across the way. Squad car pulls in, usual occurrence there but usually the Guard sees us and goes away (we're the regulars you see) they know were not up to anything. but once before all of our friends were sitting up there in our cars having a sort of mini meet (saxo vts, civic vti, civic typeR, two mivec lancers, civic esi, glanza and me) sure enough squad car comes in, we thought he'd just go off and leave us alone like they normally do but instead the guard told us that the insurance companies are trying to find out who are congregating in groups and they want to hire our bloody premiums, the guard let us off with a warning and said if he caught us again he'd take our details and tell the companies what we were at!

so anyway, last night, Squad car pulls in, only two of us sitting there, he went over to the other two groups first and told them to leave, then he came over to us, "so we meet again" he says to me, he then stated going on about what he said to me last time and all that shite, took my disc, took my details BUT let me off with one last warning on the basis that i was "not a bad lad", ive never had any problems with any guards before! besides at 1 cruise before, were i was apparently doing doughnuts :lol: well done guard :clap:

no whats your view on that?? police boredom? basically he's telling me to stop being No risk to the insurance company and get out on the road, were i pose more of a risk!! whats the story with that? surely the insurance companies would rather us to not drive our cars rather than drive them? :ponder: maybe the Guards were making it up to try move us along, but seems stupid to me seeing as we've never had any trouble with them up there before. there a bunch of 5 star freaks IMO

dont mind that crap norris there only messing with your head,if anything the garage probably rang them,the insurance companies cant say to on your next premium ,we heard your sittin around in your car NOT driving it,we better put your insurance up
 
He took your insurance disc an didnt give it back? Surely they cant do that can they?
 
no no, he gave it back. i doubt the garge rang cause, well it was closed at the time and we've never had them call on us before, we dont do anything there other than park there, i though as much that it was bull, its a car park, and its not private! so fooook yoooo Guard!
 
i know the Sargent fairly well so i can get that sort of shite crushed anyway :)
 
ask the sarg if its true, but i cant see it, or else your living in a communist state :ponder:,
now if its on private property thats different, he then can ask anyone to move on, who are not the owners or costumers ( business hours ), now if it is public land ---- well thats a different kettle of fish --- he can ask you to move on if you are being a pain in the arse but generally they cant ask you cus it is public right of way

Guards usually like to rely on the fact that nobody noes about that stuff

Any how, the guard is just trying to scare you. Just be polite to him, explain uve no where to go and its better then going to the pub and getting wasted or something along them lines and maybe he will cut u some slack ?

I personnally would of batton charged the lot of u... God dam hippys
 
there will be a next time with him anyway, the past two years we've spent sitting there doing nothing and im not going to give it up over some dope arse Guard, as boring as it is! its a matter of pride! :p
 
well, im back from the Esso, just four of us sitting having a chat. same lad pulls in (in a nice new unmarked vectra this time) usual crap to the other lads, tells me that im out of chances and that he's going to ring the insurance company tomorrow. i cant wait for tomorrow night, cause guess were il be parked up ;)
 
Usual sh*t.Hear a lot lately about there activity about moving on cars.Probably too much trouble finding people who are doing houses and twocing.

Thats mad!! They must have nothing else for doing. It'd be interestin to hear what he threatins you with tonight.

Where I'm from they have recently set up a car club and rumour is the council have given them a fair bit of money to try organise a carpark, can't see it ever happening though!
 
hmm, i never got any call from the insurance yet, not sure if i will, but il wait and see what happens tonight, its against my rights or somthing to do that! theres no gate, no sign to say private property, so its not! im gonna give the bollox an ear full next time he does it. ya Carlo it was a silver vectra, i new one
