Championship football next year  100yoyou says were not

Apart from that :dontknow:

Can hodgson take blame for all.Few players wanna get a grip of themselves or head off,Dont see anyone interested in anyone apart from Babble and any premiership club would be a great move for him.

Would love to see O Neill there but recon we just might be struggling for a european place this year??????

Sure wont we all be happy to see them in the aviva

:smokin:

sickening, embarrassing, soul-destroying stuff!

The phrase "a new low" has been used so many times this season that's it's completely worn out. Hodgson needs to be removed immediately. Sure it's not all his fault, but he is the person who is primarily responsible for fixing the problems and he is only making things worse.

A manager needs to lead but from the moment Hodgson has arrived he has failed to inspire anyone in the club. The fans don't like him and have no faith in him, the players aren't performing for him and don't believe in him, the owners don't trust him and won't give him a transfer kitty!

Oh and Gerard Houllier loves him.......................I rest my case :icon_hang:

Roll on the weekend and yet another FA Cup defeat to United........

Don't know why Hodgson took that job....someone young with loads of energy and the desire to build a new team is what's needed...Torres needs a kick up the hole..he looks like someone who is dreaming of warmer climates to me

Liverpool have two players who play to win.. Gerrard and Reina

Torres needs a kick in the hoop for sure, he's not the only one tho'..

Maybe a year in the championship will snap 'em out of it. It seem to have worked wonders at Newcastle. Another club with great heritage...

hmm...

That's backward thinking though isn't it? This is a club that finished second 2 seasons ago when they lost only 2 games in the whole season. Since then we've been sliding, why would sliding any further down be a good thing?

People just need to start taking responsibility! Get Hodgson out, get the players actually playing as opposed to running around in a daze and mid-table mediocrity will be secured for this season!! :multijump:

We were talking about this in work, and I reckon apart from Blackburn getting relegated 4 years after winning the league this has to be the biggest turn around in form in the premiership years

Ironically that season actually laid all the groundwork for the disaster that followed:

* Benitez trying to replace Alonso with Gareth Barry
* Keane bought in as a last minute "galactico" style signing against Benitez's wishes
* The "facts" speech by Benitez against Ferguson which gave the world its first clue that Benitez was a bit mental!!

I guess the higher you climb the further you fall!

letting Alonso go was a huge mistake...he was, IMO, the best midfielder in england at the time.
Watched liverpool play chelsea 7 times in 2 years(think so?) and he was the best player on the pitch...with midfield's including Gerrard, Essein, Lampard, ballack Deco..

ya, Alonso was my favourite Liverpool player during his time there!

rumours on twitter today that hodgson said his goodbyes to the players this morning!
