They could have taken moulds of the lock nuts before they hit the place,thats if there was lock nuts

Yeah the lock nut is in the boot with the spare wheel.
In my place they always smashed the back window or side window to get to the lock nut.
The. They took 4 wheels, either 4. Fitted to car or 3 fitted and rob the spare if it was an alloy.
Cars dumped on their discs!
One Passat cost my place over 4k to fix.
