Location of ECU

I'm looking to pull out my ECU at the weekend to see what board is in it as was on to AP Performance about getting a tune done as I have no idea what fuel it's actually mapped for.
And yes I will disconnect the battery and hour before I do anything

I assume in the the passenger footwell.

Its a 96 Impreza WRX STI RA

You will need something like an esl daughter board to be fitted to oem ecu to map a 96 sti if I remember correctly as oem one can't be mapped or go standalone ecu like a link g4, AP supplies , fits and maps both so your in safe hands

Just wanted to check if it std inside as no idea what has been done to it over the years
