Sunday Drivers
Well lads just bought a Hawkeye and am doin engine conversion and want to know if anyone on here knows the whole process of getting it on the road as in do I need engineers report , etc to register as a 2.0 turbo if anyone can help that would be great I have a 94 Impreza and log book was misprinted and had to go get it checked and verified by dept of transport with chassis number to get it ncted

as far as i know since all this hullabaloo about the guys in dublin with all the falsely declared BM's it has become more strict you may have to get main dealer to inspect it but that may not be the case...?

its a couple of years since i registered an engine with different cc's but the county council rang up spot checking them to verify, it used be as simple as fill out RF111 form change of particulars with new engine details and signed and stamped by garage that fitted it, may not be that easy now.
