Have the vento there Marko if you're interested.. The centre section of the exhaust blew a hole in it just before christmas but thats the only mechanical problem I've had with it since i bought it.. It has been super reliable for me for the 18months that i used it for.

It will do a genuine 50mpg as long as you don't rag the balls off it on the motorway. Its a 1.9 straight diesel, but tax'd as a 1.6 for some reason (i didn't ask), only relevant if you plan on taxing it, I never did :whistle:

Body wise, its rough but its cheap as chips and did the same job for me that you are looking for.

got me hands on a few quid now so looking round 2007/08 model golf tdi if anyone knows anyone trying to sell one....
few on donedeal but nothing i fancy...
