 done the nct at 8 tonite, passed but had to take off my sunstrip, no big deal, have booked to get another one on tomorrow :D but stupid thing is they said it's only if your wipers are touching the strip and they have no regulations on the length of your wipers :ponder: so I can cut four inches off the wipers and have the sunstrip covering half the windscreen???!!! :wall:
And how does not having a sunstrip, which helps keep the glare of the sun out of your eyes, help reduce the amount of accidents on our roads??? :dunno:

They failed my Gf twice on the suspension which was to ford manufacturing standards. When i took it back a 3rd time they passed it even though nothing had been altered to it. There lying robbing scum.

Think the strip mite be ok on the inside...passed a few of me other scoobies done like that but then you never know what humour they'll be in :wall:

I don't think swerv555 was talking about Chara555's case in particular. It was more of a general statement from my view.

I personally think its alll a money racket. i failed because my window washers didnt work the way theyy said they should. Even thoiugh both of them worked.

I don't have to do a retest as the sunstrip came off there and then...more so than the money side of things I think it's funny that you can shorten your wipers and put on a longer sunstrip...I just don't get the point of failing it in the first place :dunno: I mean I have the car booked in for a new one tomorrow and I'll be able to drive around with that on for two years, explain to me please how this is making our roads safer? :ponder:
