rooney is a pure workhorse , running up and chasing down the ball ,heavily involved in both goals .............
but yeah sick as 14 hospitals they got the equalisr, even if they probably did deserve it ... and they have never been beat by a british team on home soil . will be tough alright ,

Gary Neville = Bag of Sh1te, should be put out to pasture. Throwing his arms up in the air like a pussy looking for free's. Get rid of him and bring back keano as captain just to stand in the centre circle and bark orders. Would certainly be more effective than that fool.
Johnny Evans - Potential but been sh1te in recent weeks
Scholes, fletcher and Carrick - Were they even playing?
Ronaldo = Lazy fook and didnt produce anything
Park = Pure Sh1te, no composure
Tevez - would run all day for you but hasnt produced and definitely not worth keeping
Van der sar - Good defence let him hide away for a long time. Very dodgy keeper. Should have spread himself to make himself big for the second goal like schmeichal used to do but dived to the near post like a sap head.

Vidic - big improvement in form compared to before the suspension but still a few stupid mistakes
Pure cockiness and laziness caused by believing all the hype around them has now brought them down to earth with a bang and i'm not sure whether they will recover from it.

I disagree about Nevielle he can cross the ball better than anyone on the team...he lacks pace we all know that
The problem was the shape of the team AGAIN. He's playing 5 in midfield ovibously giving Scholes licence to raom and get forward which he won't do..that in turn puts Carrick and Fletch in an akward positon because nobody knows when to break from the middle..Evans will not put his foot in..whats the story with that..same thing against fluham..O'Shea is a good journey man for the Premiership has never been good enough for europe.
I don't balme Van der sar either..did you see the deflected save he pulled out? He had to challenge the guy he was on his own ffs.
Why would ferguson put that team out at home in the first leg ? why why? fcuking why? makes no sense. the team that ended the game was the team to start it...
The passing was terrible but the shape was worse..no leadership on the picth either.
Park is purely playing for the Asian dollar its the only explanation he has no composure or craft..all the hard work in the world won't make you top quailty

Don't understand why they played 5 in midfield at home!! You could see the difference almost immediately after they changed to 4-4-2. i wouldn't right them off just yet for the return leg, but if recent weeks and the whole CL away form this season is anything to go by i won't be holding out for it!!
Games are coming thick and fast now so Ferguson needs to stop messin about with his formations and who he plays. CL is most important of all imo its the toughest competition by a mile with all the travelling and return legs etc.

Need Rio at the back to be competitive. Evans is alrite but lacks experience
If ferguson wants to win CL this year he needs to put out a team from the start that can win the game, imo hes taking gambles far too often
And theres just something that makes me uneasy seeing carrick and fletcher starting together..both good players in their own right but no real presence between them imo

Neville has had rings ran around him since he has come back. He is United through and through which i hugely respect but the fact is, as you say, he's just not quick enough anymore and we cant afford to give him the games he needs to try and be the defender he used to be. He was that bad against villa that john o'shea actually looked good beside him.
Agree about scholes, he is very reluctant to get forward an when he does, he never seems to want to take on shots anymore. He started th season well but is really fading now.
I still think van der sar is dodgy, he can blow hot and cold. When he's good, he is great though but this nonsense of parrying everything away with his fists closed does my nut everytime, you never know where the ball will end up. Now maybe they are telling him to do it but i've no idea why they would. I will say though that he does make some great saves but i think he should have done better for the second goal even though he should never have been put in that situation in the first place.
