Mapping a Pajero V6 3.5

Hi lads

I know this isn't a Subaru, but the Uncle has a petrol 3.5 non turbo and
was wondering about getting it mapped or tuned up.

Are thoses "tuning chips" worth a go, any tips would be great.

I don't think they work as well on non turbo cars/jeeps as they do on turbos i've never heard of anyone getting a sizeable increase in tourqe or power

Was thinking along your lines, i suggested doing a de-cat and KnN type filter,

might add some extra Bhp without to much effort.

ya thats a good way to start the best way to reli get power out of a non turbo would be a good exhaust, some cams, bigger intake, bigger injectors an ecu and a good map but for the amount of money you would be spending on that would be a lot for probaly 70 to 80 hp increase
