Maxsport rb5 rally tyres....

Me being a rally competitor, I've never seen them being used, kumho, pirelli, michelin, maxxis and dunlop would be the main brands used.
But for those tyres, i'd give them a go as you never know they may suit your driving style as each brand has their own characteristics who suit a specific driver.

Oh wait maybe it's maxxis I was thinking of as Paul said though give them a go

Had a browse alright. You'd wonder though for track use would they be fine. Lads there in 400bhp evos using them on rally stages. That's awful torture on a tyre. But on a celica around mondello.... I just don't know.

The ar1 are meant to be great
How they are road legal is beyond me they look savage

They road legal... Had totally missed that! That's unreal. Money not bad on them either, compared to the r888 or the advan a048 which are shocking price

Adrian is going to run them this year, and I'm also going to get a set to try them

I have a 10% voucher with murraymotorsport that I have to use by the end of the month as well if you guys were thinking of getting stuff from them. I'll not be needing it as I used my last one getting those pads off them at the start of this month. As for the nankangs, they get great reviews for track/road tyres hard to believe their road specific tyres are shocking. They're not called nankangs ditch finders for nothing.

Very sound Paul! ????

Ill have to sit down later on and compare prices from different places including delivery too which can be a nice bot from the UK.

Nankang Ar1 prices....

I just tried a few sites for the prices on the Nankang AR1 track day tyres. The size I used on all sites which is the size I would want is 195/50 R15. So staring from cheapest to dearest is....

Demon Tweeks - 4 tyres - including delivery - €406

JJC Race and rally - 4 tyres - including delivery - €407

MOT Motorsport - 4 tyres - including delivery - €430

Tegiwa - 4 tyres - including delivery - €437

Murray Motorsport - 4 tyres - NOT including delivery - €536
