Mercedes W124 E220 Saloon

Sunday Drivers
It has come time for me to change cars, granted this decision came about sooner then expected but I really am not ready to get caught in this luxury barge trap yet... I'm only in my mid twenties!

Here are the main details;

1995 Mercedes W124 E220 Saloon
92,500 miles
Auto
Onyx Grey (I think!), two tone paint
Grey Cloth with Walnut Wood interior- wear on drivers bolster but not torn

She's in great condition overall.
The engine and gearbox are flawless.
She was just serviced (by previous owner) including all oils and filters less then 500 miles ago.
Interior is immaculate- it even has the full medical kit although that expired in '99
It's on 4 decent Bridgestone tyres (cant remember the exact type).

Being realistic I only have her a few weeks and she is great overall. It's just not for me right now as I'm bored of driving luxury automatic cars at this stage and want something fun again.
It is a month out of tax and a few out of NCT.
I only received the logbook late last week so will be booking the NCT later this evening- I will advise on the date once I have it.

Negative points;

It has some special MB alarm system which has been a pain in the arse TBH. I ended up fighting with it one day and in the battle the radio stopped working- I've yet to get the time to look into it.
A bushing (donut bushing might make sense to you?) between the driveshaft and the gearbox is gone/going and needs to be replaced. You hear a sort of thud noise when changing to reverse and sometimes when driving from before the box, it also slightly, ehh, vibrates when pulling off initially. This is a common problem. I got a replacement bushing from a newer model and have yet to fit it (it's a simple job, just 6 bolts on and off)
There are 2 handprints (children) on the front of the bonnet thanks to glorious suncream A compound will sort it out but again, I just haven't had the time.

I still haven't even got round to getting proper pictures however, I'll get some later and post them here
I can also pass on the previous owners contact detail. He was a MB enthusiast and loved this one. He would be more then happy to go into detail on her I'd say.

Myself and my brother in law went to view this one and were amazed by the condition overall- I wasn't even really in the market for one but at the price it was hard to refuse.

If I've forgotten anything I'll let you know but I think that's basically it

My price is €1,200 (what it owes me) and that will be raised to €1,500 in a few weeks when she goes through the NCT.
I really don't think she will need anything but the sooner it goes the sooner I can get something fun

I've got a few mails about this looking for pictures so apologies for the delay and lack of but I've been up to my eye balls lately with work.

any questions please feel free to ask!
