Hi Clive,
No Pm's for me.
Ha ha
The Manta is in the shed at home. Im keepin her dry. Any nice weekend when the sun comes out I transfer the insurance and take her out for a spin.
Im still collecting gear for the build and it will be a long enough process.
I got a large set of white five spoke Revolution's. They are seriously wide. I stuck them on and driving is a no go area. When I start the body work ill have to trim the rear arches and put in fairly heavy suspension.
I have all the conversion parts for a 2L 16v Red Top conversion. Ive looked at a lot of engines in the last while but still on the look out for something tasty.
Waiting for RallyTech in England to finish the kit moulds and ill order the full kit with triangle light pod. There the best kits around and they have a great reputation. They make a lot of kits for regular rally cars. They are making a fibreglass kit and a kevlar kit.
I have a friend who will do the paint work and help fit the kit.
Thats it so far. Ill have to get the finger out and get a move on. Im leaving the car as it is till I have all the parts, it means I can drive it till then.
I heard there might be a Chevette
out in Monaghan at the weekend so might go up to wet my appetite.
What sort of reception would I get if I turned up to a night meet in a Manta.
Check out VxOpel.com. Its full to the brim with Mantas, Asconas etc with lots of pictures and projects.
