right so im thinking about getting back into bikes seeming that i couldnt find myself a clean cossie in my price range,
ive a full bike licence about 7 years and its been 6 years or so since i was insured on one so what companies out there at the moment are the best for quotes etc....
thinking along the lines of a cbr 600 or gsxr 750....

I'd go CBR 600 RR myself. Better bike then the GSXR but then others would say the opposite. I personally like the ZX6R. One of my favourites.

give quinn a bell, i was off the bike for 5 years so was like starting over again they gave me a quote of 650 3rd party on a 600 bandit and thats with a prov incense

off bikes for 11 years+got quote of €550 from Carole Nash.3rd party+open drive+breakdown. zzr600. let my license run out,so got treated like a first timer.only company that would touch me.

They never do. Mine hit the roof when I told her. But I got it and now she's used to it but has no interest in ever getting on it.

I did a 1000 mile the other day in 24hrs. The iron butts SS1000 entre level long distance endurance ride. Purely a hobby for me though. It'd be different if it was all we had.

Was off bikes for 5 years myself and was warned not to buy anything with an R for the first year or two as in GSXR,CBR or the insurance wouldn't cover me. But the GSXF and Bandit etc were acceptable. Ended up getting a Fazer 600 that was the most uncomfortable bike i ever sat on,while the GSXR-750 was the most comfortable i owned. Go naked as in Bandit,Hornet etc for a cheaper quote.
