Motul 300V chrono 10W40 for non-turbo non-race car engine

Is Motul 300V chrono 10W/40 oil an "over kill" for a normally aspirated 2.0 petrol engine (forester 2.0X)?
 
if you have the money NO

but any good 10w 40 oil will be fine, mobil 1 or castral
