I'm bit confused... found out that there's not only us gallons but also uk and imperial gallons.
Which volume is used in the cars we drive (irish/japanese)??

Does anyone know any mpg to l 100km calculator ??
 
To convert between L/(100 km) and miles per U.S. gallon, divide 235 by the number of Gallons. (For miles per imperial gallon, use 282 instead of 235

...and how accurate is cars computer showing average mpg ???

I got average 40mpg while driving Galway - Dub airport - Galway last week. Can't believe that it's only aprrox7l /100km :ponder: :ponder:
 
still surprised though :)

...any ideas what miles computer shows (uk/us) ????

Which ever gallon is 4.55 litres :thumbsup:
anywere near 40MPG is savage!
I'd never see over 25MPG :? It's worth it though :subaru:
