MPG - What do you get??

Hi guys,

Just wondering what you guys get out of your Subarus' :subaru:

Filling the tank with 50L on my MY01 STi ( 95RON, no lucas ) I generally seem to get about 160 miles out of it, usually the last 30 miles being driven very softly, the rest of the time it is normal driving with the odd pedal to the metal on the open roads.

I calculated it at 15 to 16 MPG

Tried a tank with lucas in it and I got 11MPG!! :guinness:

Can anyone tell me what they get??

If your car is in kilometres, convert to miles by divide by 8 and multiply by 5

For litres to gallons, divide your litres by 4.54 to get gallons... 50 litres is 11.01321585 gallons

I'd say there's a hole in your petrol tank Cill.
If you're getting a 160 miles to 50 litres you would spend €4,400 a year on petrol (based on 12,000 miles a year) :shock: :shock:

Must get that remap from 98 to 95

jesus clive you be cheaper running a plane.... I get 22 mpg out of my 03 sti going easy.. got a mind blowing 25 mpg out of it once(just the once ) on a long drive...

I got 24 mpg from 06 6speed 2.5 STI forester with mixed driving and thats pretty much the same as my 2001 auto forester STI got
But the first week i got the forester back after mapping and stuff i got average 12 mpg (lots of silly driving)

IMO the mpg in an impreza/subaru is when it gets near Empty put e50 in it............... :D :D :thumbsup: :subaru:
