Thanks lads. Interior is out now she's really just a shell now. Have some water under the floor so need to figure out where it's coming from but going to paint the floor with Lowe rust primer to save me hastle in the future

How about checking it for leaks before interior goes back in, go at it with a hose or power washer maybe

Outside. Get someone to sit in the car and someone to spray it . Start low and work up towards to top . Stop intermittently and listen for water running threw the car . May take a while to find the leak .

I thought I had it found but no more water in it this morning so got to keep looking seeming like it was coming for underneath the front window but I sealed that and still coming it. It's the passenger side it's coming in somewhere lots of checking to be done

Ya that's were I'm heading next. U sealed the underpart of window but still coming in. So must look again tomo when I'm. Off work. I cant mail u back scooby sub. But codes are 45 pressure sensor 24 open/short in isc valve circuit 24 isc valve (stick) 24 idle control malfunction 31 trottle position sensor circuit 33 veichle speed sensor thanks

Will you keep it red?

I'd love to get my hands on an early wrx or sti, viewed a few shiteboxs before settling on the bug

I was gona go blue but the more I look at it the more I want to leave it as is. Maybe down the line go blue or a dream own 2. I don't think il ever sell this car. Even if it sits in a shed for some many months. Love this shape just something about it.

I think it would be nice kept as original as possible just made super clean, getting very hard to come across a clean original v1 now and will only get harder as time goes on, most have had mods or facelifts, I like it as is! Sorry I sold mine, I'm even on the hunt to try find it again if it's not already broken..... Best of luck with it, looks very smart!!

Leak is sorted thankfully. So dash is going back in now today. The cover under the wiper was loose so it slots into 2 very small holes so that's where my leak was I've fixed that sealed under the window and now running water for last half hour all over that side nothing so happy days
